Extended Access appointments available!

Book your Flu jab at reception now!

calendarAll visits to the doctor and nurses are by appointment only, including urgent problems. Unless the problem cannot wait please make a booking for a routine appointment by telephoning the surgery. It is always best to stay with one doctor for one problem or illness.

You can make appointments on line for GP's and phlebotomist's using Patient Access for which you will need a PIN which you will need to collect in person from reception.

Pooled Appointments

Any patient who needs to be seen  ON THE DAY is asked to come down to the surgery at a given time and will be seen by the next available GP or Nurse.  Please note these appointments are for ONE PROBLEM ONLY and be prepared to tell the receptionist what your problem is so that these appointments can be triaged appropriately.

Telephoning the Doctor

The doctors are happy to discuss straightforward matters over the telephone but would preferably like you to attend surgery if it is a new problem.  Please speak to the receptionists who will pass on your request to the doctor.  If the doctor feels they need to see you they will arrange an appointment for you through the receptionist. Some straightforward matters and questions can be booked in for an evening telephone call if this is more convenient - please speak to the receptionist for further information.

First Language

If English is not your first language and you think you may not be able to communicate effectively with our staff please ensure that you either bring a member of your family whom you are comfortable acting as a translator or arrange for an appropriate professional translator.

Chaperones are available during consultations. Please ask at reception if  you would like a chaperone present.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
