COVID-19 – Should I still be shielding?
“Shielding” means that you are following the Government’s advice to stay indoors and limit contact with others because a health condition makes you extremely vulnerable.
The Government advice changes as the rate of infection of coronavirus changes. From 6th July, people who are shielding may choose to make some small changes to the way they are living, such as meeting a friend outside, whilst socially distancing. The latest advice is here, and the Government expects to make further changes to its advice in the future.
